Presentation of the project “Resilient Affordable Eco-School Training” to an International Students Group at the University of Forestry

Students from the Professional School of Ecology and Biotechnology “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov “and their guests from forestry high schools in Poland, Italy and Lithuania visited the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture at the University of Forestry in Sofia and became acquainted with the activities and projects of the University.
The youngsters participated in demonstrations, experiments and games in different halls and labs of the University of Forestry to experience the environmental education process. Faculty lecturers presented ongoing projects that they work on, one of which was “Resilient Affordable Eco-School Training” (RAEST). High school students showed interest to the smart application and the “affordable ecology” portal, developed by RAEST, while their teachers were also interested in the upcoming ABC guide and teaching material.
Special attention to RAEST and a willingness for a future partnership expressed the Polish forestry school in Orneta.
